CSUans exhibit fortes in socio-cultural night

TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN – Cagayan State University Andrews Campus carried on with its first-ever virtual intramurals, commencing it with tonight’s socio-cultural event, live at their official Facebook page.

The event focused on visual and performing arts in which contenders flaunted their talents in vocal solo kundiman, pop solo, charcoal painting, digital poster making, photo contest, contemporary dance, and hataw CSUans.
​
Joel Daquioag Jr., Vice Department Chair of Bachelor of Cuture and Arts Education Major in Music; Romuald La Madrid, University Socio-cultural Music Coordinator; Jomari Castro, Adviser of Athena Legato Chorale; and Gay Maridel Lynda Miguel Mina, University Professor composed the panel of jurors for the singing event.

On the other hand, included in list of the visual art event judges are Angelo Acob, LGBTQIA+ Lasam Ambassadress; Micheal Andrada, Teacher III and School Paper Adviser of Tuguegarao City Science High School; and Cocoy Castillo Logan, Owner and CEO of The Art of Logan.
​
Lastly, the dancing event was judged by Vincent Kier Damay, CNHS-SPA Sibol Mananayaw Choreographer; Arvin Iquin, CNHS-SPA Sibol Mananayaw Choreographer; Kristel Joy Tabao, University Instructor; J. Ventura Cue, Allacapan Motion Squad Choreographer; and Archie Longcop, Founder of 3rd degree dancers.

CAHS secure places in socio-cultural night competitions

CAHS made sure that it stole the spotlight in the socio-cultural night by bagging the Hataw CSUans title. Joseph Alan, Jr., a first year BSPH student, bagged third place in contemporary dance.
​
Third year BSPH student Jade Ann Bautista added to the college's celebration by placing second in the vocal solo kundiman category. On the other hand, Johnlei Macababbad, first year student of BSPH, secured a third place finish in vocal pop solo.
​
Michael Angelo Carungi, a first year student of BSPH, made his participation in the charcoal category worth it through a 2nd place finish. Lastly, BS MLS's Jude Lancelot Baysa settled for fourth in the digital poster event.
