Several members of the Editorial Board and Staff led by its newly appointed Associate Editor Marielle Lorica attended physically while others have joined virtually via Zoom Telecommunications App.

“The meeting is very casual and the dean is very much supportive of this cause, only that she wants to see that incoming first years and second years from the college should have more and active participation that those incoming third and fourth year students due to the subjects they will be undertaking,” Mr. Galanto, said.

ACCREDITATION UNDERWAY

The publication also opened the discussion for accreditation and formally recognizing LP as official publication of the College of Allied Health Sciences, with which the dean also showed support in helping for the accreditation of the publication.

Other reminders are also given by the dean on to how we must properly behave and work as student journalists.

“Yes, we are very much aware of our course, and surely, we will balance our time wisely, as I have reminded the board, we must take priority our academics over the extra-curricular activities we do because in the long run, I am confident that this will be another opportunity for the college,” the editor-in-chief added.

LP EXPECTS TO MEET CEO AND OSDW

By next week, the publication is set to meet with the Campus Executive Officer of CSU-Andrews Campus and the Office of the Student Development and Welfare to pass the papers needed for accreditation of the publication.

Likha Pahinarya Adviser, Prof. Erwin Rimban already told the publication that the CEO will be giving Special Order for accreditation.

“It is a success for the whole publication because we are able to develop outside the status quo by bringing out talented CAHSians who are up to the challenge, and surely this will not be the last time CAHS will show excellence to our beloved college and university,” he further said.

FINAL REMARKS

Dean Dorina accepted becoming adviser of the publication when asked by the board.

Further, she also reiterated that the publication may also contact teachers and other professors in the college to participate and suggest people that can join in the publication, preferably incoming first and second year students.
